5x1000m 1:1 work:rest ...Did Track workout today.

5x1000m 1:1 work:rest - These weren't as bad as I thought they would be. Can't remember my exact splits, but I think we were close to 4:40, 4:50, 4:45, 4:40, 4:20. I was definitely ready to stop by about the 800m mark, but recovered really quickly after I was finished. We were aiming to stay under 5:00, I think I'm close to a 6:30 mile, haven't done one for time in a while.

3x400m 1:3 work:rest - 1:20, 1:30, 1:30 - again, can't remember exact splits, but these are within a few seconds. Also, don't know my 400 time, so just tried to make it fast, but leave a little bit in the tank.

I did screw it up a bit because I didn't do it on a track, so some were more uphill than others, but the distance was accurate. So, times might be a little faster than I might have done on a track, mentally, running around a track is tough for me. Today, it just worked better to not be on a track. Hopefully it has a similar impact and the added bonus of hill running :). I'll try to get to a track for most of these.

After this, did some hang power snatches (worked up to 105#) and a team WOD with lots of squats - my legs definitely felt fried by the end. I did get out of about 35 of them because I had to leave early. Liz Watkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13325571632181675296noreply@blogger.com
