Gymnastics: Muscle-up Progression Practice
Did Tabata DLs today @ 155#, might have been a little light, I was getting more like 6-7 a round, but I was sore from all those lunges Monday and didn't want to go too heavy so I can be ready for Thrusters on Friday.
ReplyDeleteTried a few MUs - got one, but missed a few. Started to get really discouraged then decided it wasn't a big deal and I would work them next week, when the Open is behind me. I was kind of surprised to find my triceps and elbows were pretty sore. Probably means I was pushing too much on the jerks and thrusters or doing something weird on the burpees.
I started to work my snatch and just felt really off, so I kept it light and just did some position work with a snatch complex.
Trying not to be negative about the Open, so I'll just say that I'm looking forward to next week :).
