Weakness Work: I worked on butterfly pull-ups today. I had been working on getting the rhythm of them at home, but feeling like something was off because I couldn't find a rhythm. I kept focusing on what my feet were going and when. I asked Paul to watch me and discovered I was so focused on my feet that I was actually forcing them the wrong direction. Paul had me concentrate on what my head was doing and said my feet would follow. It totally worked! I'm going to have these down in another month or two!5 minute AMRAP: 20 total repsI started at 75# and got 12 reps in 2:20, so I felt like that was too light. I went up to 85# (my max is 100#) and got 8 more reps.
Rested today and went to gymnastics. But, we did this workout last week at BCCF (kind of) - 4 min AMRAP with just squat cleans (no jerk) - I got to 29.
15 minutes of weakness- Did the shuttle sprint with the group. 35 secondsWorked on MU progression.5 Min AMRAP 115#I struggled with the jerks. I can definitely tell when I do them right because it makes it feel so much lighter. I really need to continue to work on my technique on the jerks. Did not push as hard through this as I kept over thinking the jerks and tried to focus on my technique. only did 15
